The Indigenous Ameri-Indian way of taming wild colts
Pelajes de Caballos CriollosAlong with the concept of «taming wine» appear the brands of the different wines that we will elaborate on; each of which is analogous to the coats of various crossbreed horses. It is in this way that the labels of these same wines represent some of the different coats, such as:

Rosillo: The coat of this horse is the result of a mixture of auburn and white fur.

Tobiano: A crossbreed horse characterized by large noticeable white patches typically found on the upper part of the body.

Lobuno: A color similar to that of wolves’ fur i.e., a mixture of brownish gray with orange and yellow hints.

Zaino: A crossbreed chestnut colored horse.

Gateado: This horse has a dark yellow coat with zebra-like stripes on the legs.   The mane, tail and tips of the ears are dark colored.

Alazan: This seemingly uniform coat is in fact comprised of different shades of red and yellow; it resembles the color of fire.
La BodegaThe harvest season is a crucial point where we take special care of the grape clusters, which are hand picked and deposited in small 15kg cases protecting the quality of the produce.

The winery contains high technology equipment consisting of stainless steel fermentation and storage tanks, French oak barrels and temperature, light and humidity stabilized cellar.

Our balanced style using technical-artisanal wine making process enhance the complex character and aroma of the fruit. In this way we preserve all the hues and profiles of the grapes at «La Consulta» terroir.Oak Barrel Room
Domados | Wines from ArgentinaLos ViñedosOur wines begin from the vineyard, it’s «fundamental value».  Fortunately the combination of old vines (1923), soil and climate, that is, the «Consultine Terroir» come together to balance this fountain of exceptional wines. The irrigation of the estates comes from virgin waters that melt from the Andes.  This pureness, together with other factors such as the amount of water given to the vines and the moment in which this process occurs allows us to attain wines of intense colors and balanced acidity, also favoring the aging of the wines.

With our view focused on obtaining elegant and unforgettable wines, during the process of «pruning», we place emphasis on leaving the best vine shoots and a balanced number of buds. During the spring we make a careful selection of the quantity and size of the grape clusters that mature on the vine until the harvest arrives.

In addition, we cultivate our vineyards with technical trials that respect the ecosystem, impacting the environment as little as possible. In the short-term organic and low-impact certified processes will be acquired. The varieties grown are Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Malbec, Bonarda, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc and Semillón; totaling 35 hectares.
